Allen J Hanano, Founder

Allen has extensive background in manufacturing. For over 30 years, he successfully owned and operated a $300 million industrial packaging machinery business before selling it. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and currently leverages his experience by aligning international investors with US based investment opportunities. Known as a tough but a fair negotiator and with his broad experience in international business and culture, he has brought businesses to the USA from foreign-based operations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of a German and Mexican Corporations.

Lonny E. Phelps, P.E. President & CEO, Phelps Engineering, Inc.

Lonny is a registered professional engineer in the State of Colorado. With offices in Denver and Reno, Nevada, his thriving business includes projects with major firms, including Tesla.

 

With over 35 years of engineering and construction management experience, he has managed civil design projects ranging from intersection improvements for safety consideration to CDOT rehab projects, along with water and wastewater transmission design and oversight.  His clear project understanding of engineering design and his construction tolerance are critical to the success of every project. Lonny's extensive experience includes managing large-scale development projects and serving as the development manager.

Thomas R. Warren, CEO, Mt. Princeton Holdings, LLC.

In 2024, Thomas was appointed Executive VP of TEDC. He is a visionary leader with proven results in revenue generation and business development, achieving profitability and sustained growth in startup, expansion, and acquisitions/mergers. With extensive resort development and operational experience, he has used his resort capital improvement experience to lead developments across the USA, Puerto Rico, and Europe.  Thomas has used his relationship management expertise to cultivate strategic partnerships and global business alliances across the US, Czech Republic, Germany, and the Netherlands. As CEO of a multimillion-dollar Hotel and Spa Operation in Chaffee County, he divides his time worldwide.

 

Honorable Stephen P. Laffey

As a Harvard MBA, with his political integrity, dignity, and acute financial skills, Steve Laffey was a contender for the 2024 GOP US Presidency. With increasing name recognition, his prospect in politics has a bright future nationally.

 

Steve’s first career cumulated as President/COO, of Morgan Keegan, a major investment banking institution.  As mayor of Cranston RI, Laffey took his city, on the verge of bankruptcy, to financial health with the largest bond rating upgrade in U.S. history, all while teaching the top finance course at the University of Rhode Island.  He has published several successful books including Primary Mistake (Penguin). His dramatic documentary movie, Fixing America has been prophetic in predicting the rising China problem.  Steve is an inclusive, ruthlessly caring leader, an engaging public speaker, a radio show host, and a keynote speaker in many intellectual circles.

Amanda Warren, General Manager, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort

Amanda has worked with Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort since 2010 in various management roles, including project management and capital improvements. Amanda’s unique leadership skills have greatly assisted in the exploding expansion of the Spa Resort operations in Nathrop   Amanda studied Hotel & Restaurant Management through the Conrad Hilton College at the University of Houston and explored the hospitality industry finding a passion for the resort segment. In her limited free time, she has a passion for volunteer work and serves on several local boards, The Japan America and, The Arkansas Valley Young Life Committee. Amanda has lived in several states and currently resides in Buena Vista. She enjoys travel and has traveled to Canada, Germany, Mexico, and U.A.E.

Todd K. Greimann,  Managing Director, Mauna Loa Land & Cattle

As a retired Financial Services Executive, Mr. Greimann enjoyed a 35 year career while living and serving clients in Alaska, Nevada and Colorado. The majority of his corporate tenure were spent in Senior and Executive leadership roles with Wells Fargo Private Bank, Morgan Stanley Private Bank, Guarantee Bank and Trust of Colorado and most recently Northrim Bank in Alaska. Mr. Greimann has broad expertise in Real Estate Markets, Wealth Advisory, Multigenerational Client Relationships, Private Banking and Commercial Credit Structuring. Todd earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

 

Currently, Mr. Greimann manages a family office consisting of Real Estate, Equity and Bond Investments. In addition to his role as Director with the University of Alaska Foundation, Mr. Greimann is a Charter Member of the Colorado based TEDC.

Eddie Pacheco, CEO, Allstate Pacheco Agency (San Diego)

Eddie, the owner of the largest insurance agency in the Rocky Mountains with three major offices, is a Colorado native.   As a graduate of the University of Colorado, his extensive interest in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain community is impressive. Frequently voted "Best in Sales" with his insurance carrier, Eddie makes an invaluable contribution to our group with new business contacts in the insurance industry. His knowledge and understanding of risk management in both residential and commercial assets are impressive.

Antonio Pacheco, CEO, Allstate Pacheco Agency (Colorado)

Antonio Pacheco is a Colorado native with a degree in finance, from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  A second-generation Allstate agent and business owner, Antonio has been with Allstate Insurance since 2012 and truly enjoys protecting people and their assets from life's uncertainties.  His agency is the largest Allstate agency in Colorado and highly respected in commercial & residential coverage.  He is also a second generation TEDC member.

Paul Hummel, Investment Center Advisors Group

Paul began his career in financial services in 1987 and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota. Paul earned his ChFC, Chartered Financial Consultant, which signifies in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to provide comprehensive financial planning for his clients. Paul continually participates in classes, seminars, and conferences to stay abreast of the latest economic trends and investment opportunities. In 2008, Paul was recognized as the Investment Centers of America Representative of the Year, which is awarded annually to one of the 400+ advisors. Paul continues to enjoy his work as an advisor, giving “hands-on” personal service, and intends to continue meeting his clients’ investment objectives for years to come.

M. Stuart Anderson, JD 

Stuart Anderson received his BA from Stetson University class of 1988, his Masters from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1992, and his Juris Doctorate from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1998.  Founder of Anderson Law Group, consisting of 5 attorneys with impressive accomplishments, including being voted best attorney in Chaffee County, Past President of the Heart of the Rockies Bar Association, and a Former Board Member of the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Foundation. Practicing in state and federal courts in Colorado, he has appeared in the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court and has had several cases published in Colorado. He resides in Salida, Colorado, with his wife and four very active children.

David K. Johns, JD

David Johns is “of counsel” with Anderson Law Group, a law firm based in Salida, and he is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. A native of Denver, he received his undergraduate degree at University of Colorado and his law degree from the University of Denver. David is the author of numerous articles, has lectured to attorneys on estate planning issues at local, state, and national conferences and is an active member of the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He has been the editor of The Green Book – Selected Colorado Materials on Wills, Estates, Trusts, and Taxes and co-editor of the Colorado Estate Planning Handbook.  Mr. Johns is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States and in 2014 was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel.  Mr. Johns is also the 2022 recipient of the Richard N. Doyle Award of Excellence by the Colorado Bar Association.

Carlin Walsh, CEO, Elevation Beer Co

Carlin received his BS from Regis University and an MBA from the University of Colorado in 2013. During his graduate degree studies, Carlin started his first entrepreneurial endeavor – opening Elevation Beer Company in Salida, Colorado, in 2012. Elevation beer has thrived in this very competitive industry with innovation and superior marketing. Carlin manages other organizations in SW Colorado and builds leadership teams. Most recently, Carlin acquired Colorado Telecom in 2022, now known as Aristata Communications. It is the fastest-growing internet communications provider in western Colorado. Ariststa was acquired by a major ISP in March of 2024. As a true entrepreneur, he continues to seek new business opportunities.

Dr. Kelley A. Casement, D.D.S., Owner, Casement Dental Denver Colorado

As a Colorado native, Dr. Casement earned a B.S. degree in Microbiology from the University of California, San Diego in 1997 and a D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2003. She began her career in health sciences at Invitrogen, a biotechnology company focused on products to aid researchers with gene cloning and protein expression. After dental school, she worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, for several years before joining her father in practice in Denver in 2005.  As CEO of her thriving full-service dental practice, Dr. Casement adds another professional dimension to TEDC.

Jonathan A. Clifton, MBA, Director of Development, CSU College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

Jonathan Clifton has devoted himself to a mission-based career, serving as a philanthropic advisor for over two decades, currently supporting Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. In addition to advancing the health of higher education, he has supported missions from youth development to the arts, working with institutional and individual investors to link generosity to avenues of philanthropic purpose and fulfillment. He holds an interdisciplinary MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelors in classical music performance from Indiana University, Bloomington

Jeff Post, CEO, First Colorado Land Office

Jeff Post , a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in business and an entrepreneur is a top-producing Realtor since 2000, and Broker/Owner of First Colorado Land Office since 2006. As highly respected community leader, his credentials include Chaffee County Board of Realtors in 2008 and voted Realtor Of The Year that same year, past President of the Salida Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year in 2009, as well as past President of the Chaffee County Board of Realtors. In 2010 he became a founding member and Chair of the Chaffee County Economic Development Corp and is currently a board member of the Realtors of Central Colorado, and currently sits as a Director for the Salida Hospital District for HRRMC, Chair of a non-profit low income tax credit group Salida Housing Development Corporation. He lives in Salida, Colorado with his wife, Katy and his two daughters.

Margaret Battiste, CoBiz Financial, CTP, AAP, Executive Vice President and Director of Real Estate Deposit Services

Margaret has more than 30 years of banking experience managing Domestic and International Treasury Management and Deposit Services.   As the Director of Real Estate Deposit Services for CoBiz Financial, Margaret is responsible for driving deposit growth by working closely with the real estate and public finance teams in Colorado and Arizona.   During her 10 years at CoBiz Margaret developed the domestic and international treasury management group.  She was responsible for creating a global banking platform of treasury services which included CoBiz’s own SWIFT code, FX capabilities, letters of credit, and financing options through SBA and EXIM Bank. (Retired, 2020)

Margaret currently serves on the board of directors and executive committee of the World Trade Center Denver (WTC).  She chairs the WTC Real Estate Committee which is overseeing the development of the new WTC campus targeted to break ground in 2018.  She serves on the NAIOP membership committee, a Real Estate professional association.  She also serves on the board of directors and executive committee for the Japan America Society of Colorado, an international non-profit organization.

Steve Spanton, Innovative Financial Management

Steve began his investment career in 1983 as a stock options market maker in San Francisco, California.  In 1990, Steve transitioned from the options trading business into an investment advisory role in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Steve was recently in the Colorado Springs Style Magazine as one of the top financial advisors in the region.  As markets and economies go through business cycles , Steve has developed an investment philosophy that guides his clients position their portfolios according to the current cycles and individual goals.  When Steve is not advising clients, you can find him on the golf course or playing pickleball. He is also an active member of his church.

 

Bruce Nechanicky, M&M Capital Corporation

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Bruce retired from the United States Navy after successfully serving 15 years as a Naval Officer. He began his career as a Surface Warfare Officer attached to the USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), and later deployed to South America as part of the Amphibious Southern Counter Narcotics Operations. After completing two tours of duty as a Surface Warfare Officer he was selected to transfer to the Naval Special Warfare Community. Bruce graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training as the Officer in Charge(OIC) of class 323. In November of 2022 Bruce accepted a position as a financial analyst for Marcus and Millichap Capital Corporation in San Diego, California.  He,also, owns and operates a lifestyle clothing company called Schmee clothing.
